Week 4 EOC: There's an app for that?

There is pretty much an app for anything in today's time. If you have thought of it then chances are its been made. I am sure almost everyone hates to step on the scale to see how much they weigh especially if you do not own one and have to go into a store where they have one or to the gym. There are some apps that help you calculate how much you weigh by well typing in your weight of course and from there make a goal for you to see how much you loose. I have not yet seen and app to actually weigh you to see how much you weigh without attracting other peoples attention which everyone dislikes. If I could create an app I would design it to measure your weight by simply resting your hand on your screen. It would not attract any attention at all because you would just be resting your hand which I am sure everyone does. Steeping on a scale would be a thing of the past, of course other features would include a plan to help you lose or maintain your weight.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good.

I volunteered to help a company based off of London to take pictures at the Magic convention in Las Vegas. Magic is a trade show for people to market their clothing and fashion related products. Many of the brands at the trade show were there to make profit and profit only. As I walked along the aisle's I stumbled upon a brand that is called Buyamba Soles. In their display they had beads and a couple of womans shoes. One of the representatives there was giving out bracelets and of course it was free, and in any case which is all the time "free," is good. While getting a bracelet tied onto my arm, the person giving them out quickly explained what they were doing and how they were doing it. The company was created to help the women and children in need  in Uganda. The women would make the beads in order to create jobs for them, then the money made would go to children in order for them to get an education. http://www.buyambasoles.com/buyamba-soles/

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

The Xbox 360 on the BCG Matrix is a cash cow. The constantly come up with products just to make some quick cash. The Playstation 3 is also on the cash cow side but a bit higher because of their built in Blu Ray feature which is nice. The Nintendo Wii is definitely a cash cow. Not much people by their products but you may see a commercial from them almost ALL THE TIME. I believe mobile games are becoming more and more popular. Everyone who owns a smart phone, iPod or iPhone have at least one game if not more that they play, Angry Birds is one that everyone plays and in my opinion I think mobile device games are in the star section on the BCG Matrix.

Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service

The saying "the customer is always right." It is something you do not see often because the world we live in today is full of people who want to fight back and argue with you just so they can have the felling of satisfaction. I am a person who is very and I mean very picky when is comes to quality. If i watch a movie, I watch it in high definition and if I listen to music, I want rich deep sound in a pair of head phones. Great customer service is difficult to find. I walk in many electronic stores and it seems like every employee just wants to get you out of the store. My headphones broke and I needed a new pair. Without thinking to much in the service, I walk in a Radio Shack and immediately get greeted by the worker behind the counter. I start scanning through the head phone section and I can not seem to choose a pair. The person behind the counter walks up to me and and asks if I need help. I tell the employee if they recommend any and they respond with saying what activities I do when listening to music. I tell the worker and he suggests a couple of head phones and shares some person experiences with each of them. At the counter I buy the pair that best suited me. A protection plan was suggested in case the head phones broke. After shopping I felt good because of the excellent experience I was given. The employee actually cared and did not rush me out of the store like others do.

Week 1 EOC: My Voice

Anyone can snap a quick photo with their phone and call it photography. It takes time and technique to create something worth looking at not a "selfie," in the bathroom. Fashion photography and landscape photography is my niche but as a photographer I photograph anything that walks in the door and create amazing works of art. High school opened the doors for me where I took interest in photography and I strive to perfect it every day. People in the world today want everything fast and I as well include myself in there, but when taking a picture I wait and take my time to get what I need. I am friendly an easy to work with other people. The internet is a place to view anything including pictures; it is an amazing tool but having a print is a wonderful experience, being able to hold something visually appealing is a great feeling. My name is Samuel Regis. Born and raised in fabulous Las Vegas  and I create photography, so that people can indulge and have emotions evoked and overall experience true art. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. In my case I want my work to be exposed into the world.
